Hi Brit
I enjoy retellings, but I'm confused by your pitch. Her dreamworld is when she's sleeping, I assume. So do her dreams change because she falls in love? And how could her dreams trap her? I think there's an element missing here that would help me understand.

this has so many intriguing elements! I'm just a little confused by how they connect. Here are my questions...
How is her fantasy dreamworld manifesting? How is falling in love affecting her anxiety and turning her dreams to a nightmare? Is this contemporary or fantasy? Is this a Sleeping Beauty retelling? The addition of "Sleeping Beauty" already tells us a lot so maybe tell us how your story differs from the fairy tale?
Best of luck!
